前景化视角下《许三观卖血记》的英译研究

先锋派作家余华写作风格独特,所创著作在国内外广受赞誉。其作品频繁使用前景化手法,以突显作家文风特色。在其长篇小说《许三观卖血记》中,前景化现象也得到充分体现。前景化作为文体学中的核心概念,现被广泛应用于英译作品研究。本文选取美国学者Andrew F.Jones所译的《许三观卖血记》英译本,根据Leech与Short提出的前景化理论,分别从质量前景化和数量前景化两个层面,分析小说英译本中的前景化现象,总结译者采用的翻译原则和方法,希望能够对中国文学翻译研究提供一定的启发。本文将具体研究以下问题:首先,在翻译过程中,译者如何处理质量前景化和数量前景化?效果如何?其次,译者遵循了哪些翻译原则?最后,针对不同类型的前景化,译者采用了哪些翻译方法?经过案例分析和描述性研究得知:原著中较多地使用前景化手法,如:词汇偏离、语义偏离、重复和平行结构。译者虽然在译文中较好地保留了前景化现象,但也不可避免地忽视了部分前景化,造成该前景化效果缺失甚至误导读者。在翻译原则上,译者遵循了等效原则和可读性原则,尽可能地在译文中还原前景化效果。在翻译方法上,译者在翻译质量前景化时,较多地采用直译和意译的翻译方法;在...
