对《恋爱中的女人》中杰拉尔德之死的原型评论

　　本文试从原型批评的角度来分析《恋爱中的女人》中男主角杰拉尔德之死。通过对围绕杰拉尔德之死所出现的种种原型的分析,本文最终总结出了其必死的原因以及通过他的死透视作者所要传递的信息。本文对原型批评的应用是描叙性的而不是理论性的,并且符合文本分析的需要。本文由五个部分组成。第一部分是对作者劳伦斯的简介以及对《恋爱中的女人》及杰拉尔德所做的评论的总结。第二部分为背景研究。通过对原型批评及其对劳伦斯的影响的分析,证明运用原型批评理论研究劳伦斯作品的可行性。在这一章我所得出的结论是:劳伦斯在某些程度上受到荣格“集体无意识”原型理论的影响,而他对神话的兴趣对他的其写作也有一定的影响。本文由五个部分组成。第一部分是对作者劳伦斯的简介以及对《恋爱中的女人》及杰拉尔德所做的评论的总结。第二部分为背景研究。通过对原型批评及其对劳伦斯的影响的分析,证明运用原型批评理论研究劳伦斯作品的可行性。在这一章我所得出的结论是:劳伦斯在某些程度上受到荣格“集体无意识”原型理论的影响,而他对神话的兴趣对他的写作也有一定的影响。第三部分和第四部分是本文的主体。第三部分是对在杰拉尔德之死中出现的三个主要角色的研究。通过分析杰拉...
