从异化观的角度解读亨利·戴维·梭罗的自然观

亨利·戴维·梭罗(Henry David Thoreau)是19世纪最广为人知的美国作家之一。很长时间以来,梭罗被认为是自然主义者。人们熟知的只是他关于自然保护的名言,或是他那些更加有名的生活插曲--在瓦尔登湖两年又两个月零两天的“独居”,因为拒付人头税而在监狱度过一晚。他的良师益友拉尔夫·沃尔多·爱默生(Ralph waldo Emerson)对他也很是失望,因为梭罗只是力图成为在精神生活上更有影响力的人,而不是从事更实际的职业。然而在我们这个时代,梭罗作为一个哲学家,他的思想却延续下来。而作为一个哲学家,他更像是一个楷模而不是正统的哲学家,他将正统的哲学研究所追求的东西与生活品质相比照,可以说是与实践相结合的典型例证。正是因为梭罗追求在此意义上的生活,因为他的作品能够激发人们对这种追求的强烈兴趣,才使得他影响了好几代读者,有了如今的声誉。本文从梭罗作品与卡尔·马克思异化理论的对应入手,试图证明梭罗作品中对于人们生活状态的反省可以理解为对异化现象的认识,而梭罗的自然观则是他消除异化的解决之道。卡尔·马克思的异化观主要是指人们由于放弃对于产品或是劳动的控制权而导致的某种分离。在不同条件...
