中国古典诗歌翻译对美国现代诗歌的影响

  本论文从以色列学者伊恩·佐哈提出的多元系统翻译理论的视角,研究了中国古典诗歌对美国现代诗歌的影响。 论文的第一章对多元系统理论进行了介绍。多元系统理论是翻译理论中第一种对翻译现象从宏观角度进行研究的理论。该理论突破了传统翻译理论把翻译视为源语文本在目标语中的对应物的局限,把翻译现象置于社会文化的大背景之下,视之为在整个社会一文化这一大的多元系统内,及在文学多元系统内各个子系统为获得统治地位而互相竞争的产物。多元系统的主要理论来源是俄国的形式主义,特别是梯尼亚诺夫(Yury Tynjanov)有关系统的理论,伊恩·佐哈对梯尼亚诺夫的核心概念“系统”(system)和“关系”(Relational)做了进一步的发挥,使之成为多元系统理论中的支柱。他提出了在文学多元系统内的三对矛盾,并指出翻译现象及翻译文学在不同的文化系统内会起到不同的作用。尽管多数情况下翻译文学处于边缘位置,但并非总是如此。伊恩·佐哈总结了翻译文学成为文学的主流样式并促进新的文学样式的发展的三种情况。接着他从两个方面进一步介绍了多元系统理论:一、目标文学多元系统对被翻译的文本是如何进行选择的;二、被翻译的文本与目标文...
