从及物性角度对比分析童话和短篇小说

　　童话在儿童的生活中发挥着重要的作用。作为一种文体,像小说一样童话属于虚构小说。但是从接受者的角度来说,毫无疑问童话是为儿童而创作而短篇小说是为成年人而创作。基于接受者的不同,童话和短篇小说在文体特征方面可能有不同的地方。本文将从韩礼德系统功能语言学的及物性系统方面对童话和短篇小说进行文体分析。及物性把世界经验用不同类型的物质过程来表示。本文使用描述和比较的方法从系统功能语言学的及物性角度对五篇童话和五篇短篇小说进行分析以揭示英语童话的文体特征和什么样的童话更适合儿童。分析的第一步是识别五篇童话和五篇小说中各自的及物性过程类型。然后对六类过程在童话和短篇小说中的频率分布分别进行分析。之后将对童话和短篇小说中每个过程的频率分布进行仔细研究。最后对童话和短篇小说的及物性特征进行对比以分析童话中的突出特征是否被前景化了。分析结果表明童话中的物质过程比短篇小说分布多,而心理过程和关系过程比短篇小说分布少。在物质过程方面,在童话中带有目标的物质过程比在小说中更有影响力。在心理过程方面,童话中感觉心理过程比短篇小说中分布多,认知和情感心理过程比小说中分布少。童话中表示心理过程的动词比较容易理解,并且...
