　　美国神话，这一令人心动的神话曾经将无数人卷入其中。为了寻求它，人们付出了巨大的代价。它的魅力融入了美国文化，它的形象和模式走进了文学的殿堂，并深深铭刻在人们的心中。那么究竟在本文中美国神话是指什么，它又给人们的心理和行为带来了怎样的影响，最终又给人们带来了什么，是福是祸，是喜是悲，是希望还是梦幻?本文以美国神话为切入点，将《愤怒的葡萄》和美国神话联系起来，结合上述问题着力探讨了《愤怒的葡萄》是美国神话的载体，并揭示了这一令人魂牵梦绕的神话在小说中的破灭。首先，本文第一部分阐释了美国神话的形成过程。本文中的美国神话是指到西部寻找伊甸园的神话，这一神话可以追溯到欧洲殖民者开拓美国这个神奇新大陆的时期。美国丰富的资源，肥沃的土地和自由的环境给欧洲人巨大的心灵震撼。随着西班牙，法国在新大陆取得成功，美国伊甸园神话逐渐有了雏形。伊甸园神话被欧洲殖民者染上了玫瑰色，逐渐铭刻在人们的心中。美国新大陆在文化上被塑造为美丽的伊甸园，随着殖民者的不断开拓，这一神话逐渐向西推进，被转化为美国西部神话，给西进运动带来了巨大的动力，同时也给移民者带来了美丽的梦和无限的憧憬。第二部分具体阐释了《愤怒的葡萄》中乔德...
