爱德华·阿尔比戏剧中的布氏间离效果研究

　　爱德华·阿尔比是美国荒诞派戏剧的领军人物。阿尔比的作品在当代戏剧界占有举足轻重的地位,他在外百老汇的戏剧实验非常有名。阿尔比常常在自己的戏剧中并置使用各种不同的元素。间离效果是布莱希特创造的一种戏剧手法。其目的是为了让观众在欣赏剧作的时候持有一种探究和批判的态度。本文作者发现在很多爱德华·阿尔比的作品中都用到了间离效果,并且其很多观点与布莱希特颇为相似。阿尔比也曾多次表示,布莱希特是其最欣赏的剧作家之一。这两位著名的剧作家都十分强调剧作的娱乐性,推崇戏剧教育社会的功能,并且认为多数普通观众在观剧时带有极大的盲目性。阿尔比在其戏剧作品中运用了许多布莱希特式的间离效果手段。首先,阿尔比对于演员的表演也有一些特殊的要求,比如直接对观众说话与观众进行交流。他希望演员们能在表演时保持一种自我间离的状态,即演员在表演时不用假装自己即是所表演的人物,而应该用一种表演方式时刻提醒观众,他们是在表演。其次,他常运用一种超现实主义的象征创造间离的效果,辅之以让人清醒的灯光照明。这样,阿尔比的舞台极似布莱希特所倡导的“吸烟者的剧场”。第三,阿尔比打破了传统的用音乐作为气氛烘托的做法,相反的,在一些剧作中,他...
