功能翻译理论指导下的新闻编译

在信息时代,人们对信息的需求越来越大,新闻编译在很大程度上满足了人们对信息的需求。新闻编译涉及编辑和翻译两个方面,作为翻译的一种形式,必然可以借鉴翻译理论对编译工作进行有益的指导。而随着对翻译研究的不断深入,人们认识到传统的语言学翻译理论暴露出许多不足。功能翻译理论则明确阐释只凭语言学不能解决问题,拓展了翻译理论研究领域,赋予翻译更多的涵义。本文从功能翻译理论的角度出发,对新闻编译过程进行了探索。 功能派翻译理论是20世纪70年代德国学者提出的翻译理论。主要理论有赖斯的文本类型理论,曼塔利的翻译行为理论,弗米尔的目的论和诺德的功能加忠诚理论,其核心是翻译目的或译文功能。本文首先回顾了功能派翻译理论的发展过程和该理论在国内的研究现状,其次分析了将功能翻译理论应用于新闻编译的可能性和必要性,最后结合实例,以新闻编译过程为主线,从新闻的文本功能、翻译纲要、编译方法和编译标准几个方面探讨功能翻译理论,尤其是目的论,对新闻编译工作的指导意义。
