通感现象下英汉视觉隐喻对比研究

　　通感现象源自于人的各种感知觉的相互连通。传统上通感被视为一种修饰技巧,用于诗歌等文学作品中；随着认知科学的发展,通感被证实为一种认知现象,成为人类感知、认识客观世界的一种重要的认知方式。根据人类已有的身体知识表明,人体感觉是一个复杂而具有整体性的系统,视、听、嗅、味、触五种感觉虽各司其职,并不是完全割裂的,而是彼此相通、互相影响的。在这五种感觉中,视觉是我们用来观察外界事物最重要的感觉,因此它也被称作是人们获取客观世界信息的主要来源。然而,在日常的英语和汉语的语言现象中,有许多原来是对于视觉范畴描述的词汇,随着词义的引申和发展,带有表示非视觉范畴的隐喻义。在本文中这些隐喻义被称为视觉隐喻,这些隐喻义大部分都是表示抽象的概念,例如思维、情感、智力等等。 本文从实际的英汉语料出发,依据前人研究的相关隐喻理论成果,试图构建出理论框架“隐喻结构图”。基于该理论框架,以通感现象为认知背景,探讨“通感”的发生机制问题；并从视觉器官、视觉物理条件(光线)、视觉活动等不同的角度,对英汉视觉隐喻进行分类；对比英汉两种语言视觉隐喻所存在的共性和异性,试探产生共性和异性的原因。 研究结果发现,第一,“通感”...
