功能对等理论观照下政治文献的翻译

　　二十世纪的中国通过引进国外先进文化经历了前所未有的文化大交流和复苏,其中翻译的作用举足轻重。随着改革开放以来中国世界影响力的显著提升,世界各国日益关注并加强与中国的交流。由于政治活动是我国社会生活的重要方面,政治文献自然吸引了国际社会的关注并成为最直接最权威的信息来源。政治文献准确及时的翻译,有利于世界更好得了解中国,从而提升我国的国际地位。在翻译学者们的努力下,政治文献翻译的研究已取得一定成果,其中最为显著的为翻译家程镇球提出的“政治文章的翻译要讲政治”之原则。然而,对其具体的翻译原则和策略的研究结果仍不足以指导政治文献翻译的实践。因此,本文通过详细介绍功能翻译理论的产生、发展过程、主要代表人物及其理论贡献,以及该理论在翻译实践活动中的应用；分析政治文献的创作过程、内容和功能；着重以2010年政府工作报告及中央编译局的英译本为个案进行深入分析,探究功能翻译理论对政治文献翻译的指导作用,并归纳具体的翻译原则及策略。通过将功能翻译理论提出的翻译原则应用于政论文的翻译实践,本文提出四大政论文翻译的原则：忠实、准确、读者为中心、意义优于形式等。通过分析政府工作报告中词汇、句子、修辞、文化等层...
