萧乾翻译思想研究

　　译者既是翻译活动的主体,也是翻译研究的主体,但目前译者的地位仍普遍偏低。虽然最近三十年来翻译理论研究发展迅速,但对特定翻译家的翻译思想却少有系统深入的研究。对特定翻译家的翻译思想进行系统深入地研究是当前进行翻译理论研究一个新的切入点。不断累积各翻译名家具有真知灼见的翻译思想有利于翻译理论这座宏伟大厦的早日落成和完善。萧乾是中国现代著名翻译家、作家、记者。虽然萧乾认为自己“并非职业翻译家”,常自谦为翻译领域的“游击战士”,“半外行”,但是他在翻译方面所取得的成就却是令世人所瞩目的,其中最具代表性的就是他和文洁若合译的《尤利西斯》。目前对萧乾的研究过分偏重于文学研究领域,对他翻译的研究也集中在对其个别翻译作品的分析上,少有人全面总结他的翻译思想。本文认为萧乾是一位一流的翻译家,对翻译有着独特的看法,其在翻译方面取得的成就证明其翻译思想极具价值。本文以萧乾有关翻译的言论及其翻译实践为研究对象,以他的文集、回忆录、信件、译作集以及其它有关萧乾翻译的研究和评论为研究材料,认真细致地分析梳理其翻译思想并进行系统地总结。本文发现萧乾的文学翻译观系统全面,他的翻译思想不仅涵盖了对翻译整个过程的思考,也...
