四维文化智商理论在中国文化背景下的应用及其对跨文化教学的启示

随着全球化时代的到来,世界各地的人们相互影响的层面越来越多。不同文化背景的人们之间的交流日益增多,人们提高自身跨文化交流的能力日显重要。为了揭示在不同种族、民族和国别的跨文化环境中,人们如何收集和处理信息,做出判断,并采取相应的有效措施以适应新文化,Earley和Ang（2003）第一次明确提出文化智商的概念。根据Earley和Ang（ 2003）对文化智商的构成要素的分析,文化智商是由元认知、认知、动机、行为四个维度构成的。Ang于2007年根据四维文化智商,开发出了一份文化智商测量表（Cultural Questionnaire Scale,CQS）,用来测试人们在与来自不同文化的其他人交往时,通过采取有效措施,适应新的文化环境的能力。本研究采用了定量与定性相结合的研究方法。定量分析利用SPSS V12.0软件探索CQS在中国的文化背景下,是否依然具有跨文化一致性。在此基础上,定性研究主要是对跨国企业员工的访谈,根据定量研究的结果,从参加问卷调查的员工中选取5人了解他们是如何看待通过提高文化智商,提高自身适应新文化环境的能力的,以及提高文化智商的有效方法。本论文的结论是:文化智商量...
