从德国功能翻译理论探析电影字幕翻译

　　随着全球化进程的不断加速,世界上各个国家间政治,经济,文化等多方面的交流日趋频繁。其中,文化交流的深入在当代越发突显出重要性。作为一门有形有声、形声结合的艺术综合体以及现代文化传媒的重要载体,影视作品在传递和加深国与国之间的文化交流上发挥了不可忽略的作用。由于语言障碍的存在,影视字幕翻译在传递异国文化民族风情方面起到了举足轻重的桥梁作用。近几十年来,影视翻译也日趋成为翻译界新兴的翻译活动,引起越来越多专家和学者的重视。作为文学翻译领域的一种特殊翻译活动,影视翻译实践迄今尚未形成一套完整的指导理论。字幕翻译不同于一般的文学翻译,具有瞬时性、时空限制性、简洁性和不可逆转性等特点。它受到时间、空间、画面、观众期待与反应以及译者本身翻译水平等诸多主观客观因素的制约。字幕翻译在传递信息为主要原则的指导下,还要有机地配合影视作品特有的画面切换和各种音响效果,使观众能够跨越语言或者文化障碍,从而顺利地理解和欣赏外国影视作品。用准确生动的语言再现原片的思想性和艺术性,辅助异语观众以最小的努力获得最完美的欣赏效果,是影视翻译人员面临的挑战和影视翻译的最终目的。德国功能翻译理论自20世纪70年代诞生以来,...
