外事翻译与文化因素探究

　　自20世纪80年代末兴起了翻译的“文化转向”以来,关于文化层面的翻译著书和文章开始越来越多地进入人们的视线。从本质上说,翻译就是跨文化传播。随着当今国与国交往的日益密切,外事活动尤其增多的情况下,外事翻译无疑成为了跨文化交际的一项重要形式。因此,在外事翻译中,加入文化因素的考量和研究势在必行。 本文旨在从文化翻译学和跨文化交际学的角度来探究外事翻译。本文的主要内容由三个部分构成。第一,对外事翻译与文化因素分别进行了介绍,在此基础上,以跨文化交际为切入点,提出了外事翻译中,译员可能面临的文化困惑。第二,先从理论方面,提出了外事翻译中,文化翻译的策略和标准;后从实践方面,结合大量的实例引证,着重探究和分析其中的习语、委婉语与禁忌语、隐喻、文化特色词的文化内涵及其翻译,并详细论述了相应的、具有实用价值的翻译方法。第三,结合跨文化交际的全球化大背景,作者指出了外事翻译在当前所面临的挑战与机遇,又在相关的理论基础上,提出了外事译员所必备的跨文化能力及其所应扮演的新角色。 作者希望通过本课题的研究,能让读者重新审视外事翻译这一特殊而又重要的跨文化交际形式,了解和掌握一定的文化内涵翻译的...
