　　对于政治文本中的认知隐喻扮演的角色的研究无疑是十分重要的,因为这些隐喻是控制人们观点并进而影响政治发展的强有力工具。更重要的是随着中国经济的飞速发展及其在国际社会中高度开放的姿态使其在当今世界政治中地位与日俱增。尽管美国在当今国际政治中占主导地位并具有强大的影响力,然而很少有人研究美国政论文章中有关中国的隐喻意象。因此本文综合分析了美国媒体中政论性篇章里关于中国的隐喻意象,以便理解美国是如何感知中国,并揭露美国媒体想让其受众对中国形成一种什么样的态度。为了达到这一研究目的,本文采用了由俄国语言学家A.P.Chudinov提出的隐喻模型法,这一方法一方面对西方的传统研究方法进行了革新,另一方面满足了所有的研究目标。 本文主要观点如下：通过研究发现,由于民族和历史特性,美国人更热衷于将运动和战争等概念来比喻政治事件。因此中国的意象经常被比作与竞争有关的术语。然而研究也发现在美国政论性文章中中国也被看做是拥有强大力量的实体能够在经济衰退的时候帮助世界度过难关。除此之外,根据对数据的统计分析,对于中国形成的概念隐喻的表达有65.7%具有正面的语义,只有24.1%具有负面语义。 本文的主要结论是...
