On the Application of Iconicity in Poem Translation

  语言象似性是认知语言学理论框架中的重要观点之一,是对索绪尔的语言符号任意说的挑战和补充,它激起了我们对语言符号本质的思考,并且揭示了语言和认知之间的关系。象似性理论认为语言形式与客观世界、经验结构、认知方式、概念系统、所表意义之间存在种种对应相似的理据性现象,人类语言是基于人类对于客观外界结构的感知,再进行认知加工形成的。象似性普遍存在于文学与非文学的篇章之中,诗歌当然也不例外。对于诗歌语言而言,象似性是其规则,并被强调为制约诗歌篇章结构的原则之一。 目前语言象似性领域的研究可谓是硕果累累,象似性研究也已经深入到了语言学研究的各个方面。然而,语言学家们的象似性研究主要还局限于理论层面。另外,虽然有些博士和硕士论文涉及象似性,但其数量却屈指可数。因此,这些论文还无法对翻译实践起到指引作用。鉴于此,本文将尝试系统地论述象似性在诗歌翻译实践中的应用。 本文将以认知语言学的象似性理论为指导,采用文献研究法,例证分析法以及逻辑推理法,从语音、顺序、形状、数量、距离、对称等典型象似性原则之角度,分析探讨诗歌所具有的象似性修辞特点与美感功能(包括视觉美及语言美)以及象似性翻译转换的问题。以期对诗歌翻...
