童话的狂欢—唐·巴塞尔姆《白雪公主》的巴赫金式解读

　　唐·巴塞尔姆是美国后现代小说之父。他的代表作《白雪公主》一经出版就引起了众多学者和评论界的关注。人们通常都是从后现代角度来分析和评价这部小说,而很少有人把此小说与巴赫金的狂欢化诗学建立联系。本文试图用巴赫金的狂欢化理论对其重新解读,并探寻其意蕴深刻的狂欢化精神。 巴塞尔姆的《白雪公主》颠覆性地改写了同名经典格林童话《白雪公主》。改写后的小说基本上讲述的是一个全新的故事,但它又在人物、部分情节等方面与传统童话相呼应。小说在形式上是革新的,语言上是混杂的,情节上是离奇而荒诞的,人物的生活和命运是复杂而颠倒的,这些特征都反映出了整部作品的狂欢化精神,即作者试图用一种狂欢化的世界感受来看待世界、诠释人生。 本文运用巴赫金的狂欢化理论对小说的狂欢化做了详尽的分析。在巴塞尔姆的《白雪公主》中,狂欢化首先体现在小说中人物的加冕和脱冕上。原本童话里高贵的公主和王子形象遭到了颠覆。在这里一切美好的事物被打破了,一切高贵的东西被降之于地。改写后的小说使童话故事和蕴含其间的传统价值观念和人生理想得到了精神意义上的脱冕和重构。狂欢化还体现在狂欢式的主要范畴被移植到整个作品中。狂欢范畴包括:亲昵不拘的交往,插科...
