【摘要】：《飘》是美国作家玛格丽特.米歇尔经过十年创作而成的一部长篇巨著,也是她短暂一生唯一的一部作品,自1936年发表以来,其发行量已超过3000万册,该小说在1937年获得了普利策奖,据此改编的同名电影也风靡全球。一直以来,诸多学者对该小说展开研究,但大多是从文学评论的角度出发,从语用学角度进行研究的为数不多,运用维索尔伦的语言顺应理论对小说中的人物话语进行分析的更是寥寥。因此,本文以顺应论为基础,以小说女主人公斯嘉丽的话语为语料,对其进行深入细致的语用分析,旨在证明顺应理论强大的阐释力。本研究主要发现如下：首先,作为一种全新的视角,将顺应论用于文学欣赏在理论上和实践上是可行的,这一点通过文中的语料分析可以得到验证；其次,女主人公斯嘉丽的话语是其在交际过程中为顺利达到其交际目的而对语言使用者的心理世界,社交世界和物理世界不断作出的动态顺应的结果；再次,通过运用语言顺应理论分析斯嘉丽话语的语境顺应性,可以使我们对其微妙的心理变化以及独特的性格特征有更加深入的理解。本文通过定性分析,将顺应理论与文学赏析结合起来,不仅丰富了顺应理论的研究,同时也拓宽了文学鉴赏的视角,使我们得以更好地理解小说的人物,欣赏小说的语言艺术,因而对高校英语教师如何引导学生赏析文学作品具有一定的启示。此外,本研究对如何运用交际策略,顺利进行言语交际具有一定的指导意义。
