适应选择论视角下外宣翻译失误及成因研究

【摘要】：随着我国改革开放的日益深入，经济日益发展，影响日益扩大，随着我国“中国文化走出去”战略的实施，我国对外宣传取得了不熟的佳绩。但是树大招风，一些外国媒体尤其是西方发达国家媒体对我国的误解，歪曲乃至偏见宣传仍然广泛存在。西方舆论不断热炒“中国军事威胁论”、“中国经济威胁论”、“中国政治威胁论”，“中国资源能源威胁论”、“中国生态环境威胁论”、“中国软实力威胁论”、“中国责任论”、“中国殖民论”等论调。这些问题严重影响了国家的国际形象，是对我国国际形象的误读歪曲亵渎。产生这种现象的主要原因是中国的语言、文化历史和现状没有被西方人所了解熟悉。所以，全面、客观、真实地向世界说明中国、介绍中国是一项长期而艰巨并富有挑战的工作。外宣翻译的作用正日益凸显。 虽然我国在外宣翻译方面有了一些可喜的成绩,对我国改革开放和对外宣传起到了极大地推动作用，但是就整体而言与现代社会的需求还有相当大的差距。 黄友义撰文指出：外宣翻译工作对于推动社会进步，改善国家形象的重要作用和影响还没有得到有关外宣部门以及全社会应有的重视和关注，还缺乏对外宣翻译工作性质、特点、问题和挑战的科学认识，缺乏对各级外宣翻译单位和部门的工作进行科学有效的组织和管理,外宣翻译工作的投人力度还有待加大,更缺少一支能够承担日益扩大的对外文化交流任务的高素质、专业化的外宣翻译人才队伍。（黄友义，2008：93） 因此，外宣翻译中出现的问题便凸显出来，外宣翻译中错误无处不在，累累出现,完全达不到对外宣传的效果,有的甚至严重损害了中国国家形象。在一些窗口行业和公共场所中，如宾馆博物馆、旅游景点饭店等,到处都可以看见不规范的甚至是错误的宣传材料，严重影响了城市和国家形象。还有在一些政府工作报告、白皮书对外宣传报道、对外宣传画册会展资料和公共场所宣传告示标牌等的翻译中，不规范的外文翻译也是触目惊心。 胡庚申教授的“以译者为中心的翻译适应选择论”是一套系统的翻译理论。该理论认为：“翻译是以译者为中心的翻译过程，是译者对以译者为典型要件的翻译生态环境的“适应”和以译者为典型要件的翻译生态环境对译文的“选择”。本文从翻译的适应选择论的视角对外宣翻译中出现的误译进行研究和分析，明确判断误译的标准，指出外宣翻译的特点，，在适应选择论指导下分类探究分析外宣翻译失误的原因，指导外宣翻译实践。
