多模态输入对高中生英语听力理解影响的实证研究

  随着多模态在英语教学领域的广泛运用,研究英语听力中视觉输入的理解机制具有相当重要的理论和实践意义。为了促进视觉模态在高中英语听力教学中的使用,为课堂教学的设计以及英语听力教材的开发提供指导性原则,本研究探讨了多模态输入对高中生听力理解的影响程度,不同视觉模态的本质和影响效果以及多模态和学生语言水平之间的相互关系。需要解决的三个问题:(1)不同的模态组合对学生听力理解的影响程度如何?(2)不同的模态输入对高分组和低分组学生的影响如何?(3)不同主题材料的多模态输入对学生的听力理解会产生何种影响?(4)学生对多模态听力教学的态度是怎样的?本研究主要采用实验研究法,将学生分为人数相等的三组,对照组是音频组,实验组一是音频和图片组,实验组二是视频组,借助PsychoPy 1.90.1和E-prime2.0.10这两个软件分别对三组学生进行听力测试,记录学生的正确率以及做题反映速度,从而获悉不同模态组合对学生听力理解的影响程度。然后进行问卷调查以及访谈,了解学生对多模态的看法以及对实验的感受。三个研究方法的结果相互补充,相互支持。通过数据分析,本研究得出以下结论:(1)在三组实验中,视频组的成绩...
