唐·德里罗小说的后世俗主义研究

  后世俗主义是发祥于西方后现代哲学,并首先应用于西方社会学研究的一套新兴理论话语。本论文以回顾与总结后世俗主义理论话语的发展历史与主要观点为出发点,试图对散现于西方哲学与社会学领域内的相关话语作一次后世俗指向的系统整理,从而形成一个利于对西方文学,尤其是美国文学进行全新批评的后世俗主义构架。在此前提下,本论文选取美国当代最重要小说家之一的唐·德里罗作为研究对象,针对其16部长篇小说中的10部代表作品展开后世俗主义批评实践,以期呈现贯穿德里罗数十年小说创作的后世俗寓意,并揭示德里罗作品对后世俗主义新话语的各种启迪与丰富作用,由此对创造性的文学与理论性的学术话语之间的有机互动作出新一轮检释。后世俗主义,由尤尔根·哈贝马斯命名,代表了西方尤其是德国学人对启蒙理性的反思传统。在亲见"二战"、"古巴导弹危机"、"切尔诺贝利"以及"9/11"等勾勒了人类历史长卷中启示录般画面的灾难之后,西方哲学与社会学界推进了对纯理性主义及其衍生物——世俗主义的修正式反省。越来越多的西方学者更深地认识到,由理性占据并主导的世俗化西方社会,因久处边缘的宗教信仰的式微,陷入根自妄自尊大心理的控制欲深渊,从而对自然及自身...
