《牛津手册-食品、政治和社会》（34-35章）英汉翻译实践报告

　　本文为一篇英汉翻译实践报告,选取的案例分析对象来自美国学者Ronald J.Herring 2015年编著出版的《牛津手册-食品、政治和社会》一书中的第34章和第35章,重点分析研究了在翻译过程中遇到的一些典型的翻译难点,并针对这些难点探讨相应的翻译策略和解决方案。在回顾翻译任务过程中,报告描述了译前准备阶段、译中、以及译后阶段,详述了每个阶段笔者的工作内容,并在译前准备阶段加入了卡特福德的语言学“转换”理论作为指导。在翻译难点和案例分析这两章里,报告紧密结合翻译策略和方法,选取部分典型案例,将冗余和不对等作为两大类翻译难点进行了文本层面的详细分析和研究,并探讨相应的翻译策略和方法:针对过度冗余问题,采取的翻译方法是提炼原文、省译法,而对于冗余不足问题,则采用增译法。对于不对等问题,则恰当灵活地综合运用各种翻译策略来保证原文和译文的自然对等,比如,语义引申和变通,正反译法,卡特福德语言学“转换”。不仅如此,批判性思维在理解整个原语文本中也发挥着重要的作用,通过它来对原文进行语法分析、语境分析、语义分析、文本类型分析等等。除此之外,创造性重写在翻译过程中也和批判性思维一样重要。此外,报告...
