《中国官僚政治研究》（第4-5章）翻译实践报告

随着中国国力的日益强大,中国学术文化成果也应大力走出去。为提升我国文化软实力,2010年国家社科基金设立了中华学术外译项目,此后越来越多的学术专著外译,向世界展示了我国学者的学术成果。学术专著外译的质量直接决定了中国学术成果能否为国际学术界了解和认可。因此研究学术专著翻译方法,提升学术专著翻译质量十分必要。本报告选取中华学术外译项目之一的《中国官僚政治研究》作为报告的主要研究对象。该专著从分析中国社会经济形态入手,梳理了自春秋战国至中华民国(1912-1949)的这段历史找出了中国古代官僚政治的产生、形态和特征,及其与封建社会长期停滞的关联,该专著至今仍具现实意义。本报告聚焦该专著第四五章文本的汉英翻译,翻译实践的主要困难是其文体风格,分别体现在其词汇,句子和语篇层面。最明显的是其文白混杂的文体风格,需要合理考查原文字词的字面含义、实际信息、政治语境和文化因素,需要首先完成语内翻译;其词汇方面,涉及中国古代历史史实,含有大量政治历史方面的专业术语,需查阅对照国内权威典籍外译,适当补充有助读者理解的文史常识;其句法方面,多长句,因而需要梳理句子逻辑关系,简洁明了地传达信息;在语篇层面,大...
