顺应论视角下金融英语新闻标题的汉译研究

  金融新闻作为金融信息的载体,是人们了解世界经济的重要途径。国人也常通过浏览英语金融新闻了解世界金融市场最新相关消息,以及与金融市场交易相关的风险与成本,从而进行明智的投资和理财。面对海量的金融新闻报道,人们倾向于通过浏览标题筛选他们感兴趣的新闻。新闻标题的有效翻译能够迅速抓住读者的眼球。为了使译文具有吸引力,同时确保目标读者准确、顺利地获取英语金融新闻信息,标题翻译的质量至关重要。因此,金融新闻标题的英汉翻译越来越受到人们的重视,是值得探讨的领域。杰夫维索尔伦的顺应论认为语言使用是为了实现交际目的而连续选择和顺应的过程,顺应论为新闻标题翻译研究提供了一个新视角。因此,本文构建了基于顺应论的理论框架来研究金融英语新闻标题的汉译,作者收集了2018年2月到2020年1月期间权威网站上金融栏目的100条新闻标题文本(英文50条,中文50条),采用对比分析的方法,探讨并总结了英汉金融新闻标题语言特点的异同。然后采用定性分析的研究方法,结合大量的实例,详细阐述了顺应论在金融英语新闻标题汉译过程中的具体应用。通过本文的研究,发现英汉金融新闻标题在语言方面有很多异同点。相同之处在于它们都力求语言准确...
