建构主义理论指导下的计算机辅助交互式翻译教学

【摘要】：通过对翻译过程的分析可以看出，翻译教学要充分体现交际互动性，但是传统的翻译教学却没有反映出这一点。随着信息技术和多媒体的发展，计算机也逐渐走入了翻译课堂，并发挥着举足轻重的作用。以此为基础，，建构主义理论也越来越引起人们的注意。建构主义学习理论起源于20世纪的认知心理学习理论，并在20世纪90年代成为计算机辅助教学和学习的理论基础。建构主义认为，学习的过程不是对知识消极摄取的过程，而是学习者在先前知识和经验的基础上，通过和周围环境、物体的联系，积极建构新的知识和信息的过程。学生是学习活动的主体，教师是这种学习活动的指导者和组织者。因此，建构主义强调学习者的主体性和学习过程的交互性。 以建构主义理论为指导，新的翻译教学模式应以下列三点为方向：(1)创设情境教学；(2)人际互动和人机互动；(3)以学习者为中心。在目前的翻译教学中，可以使用一些计算机软件和工具，在某种程度上，我们可以实现上述翻译模式。关于创设情境教学，我们可以利用MS PowerPoint和MS Word。尤其是MS PowerPoint，它可以集文本，图像，声音，录像于一体，通过放映幻灯片来展示教学信息，使输入信息既具有很强的可读性，又保证了充足的信息量；尤其通过插入声音和影像文件，可以提供生动学习环境，调动学生学习的积极性。要实现翻译教学过程的互动，我们可以利用网络工具，比如：E-mail，World Wide Web，网上词典来实现人际和人机互动，通过计算机上获得自己所需的知识和信息。并且，通过这种交互活动，学生们可以虚拟一种“译者—读者”关系。关于第三点，作者介绍了一种在Visual FoxPro数据处理应用程序环境下建立的翻译资料库，虽然它还未正式在教学中投入使用，但其设计原则是以学生为中心，而在学生作扩展翻译练习时尤其有用。并且，这种模式也促进了过程教学法在翻译教学中的运用。 作者自己的学习经历、导师提供的教学实例、以及学生的问卷调查结果，均为本论文提供了研讨的基础。当前，这种新的交互式翻译教学模式还未能在课堂中完全得以实现，但是作者相信，当电子网络教室在翻译课堂得以普遍使用时，这一教学模式一定会很快地在课堂内实现。
