本篇论文旨在探讨语篇意义与信息结构间的互动和表征。在对语篇意义和信息结构进行理论阐释的基础上,论文首先指出,语言使用应被视为一个动态过程,语篇意义的确认与表征可分别通过句子、语境和上下文实现;语篇意义的实现和表征是认知性的。在进行语篇分析的过程中,应始终记住语境既是静态的,更是动态的,语篇意义生成则是以一种不断变化的动态方式进行推进。 然后,论文从新/旧信息与信息焦点及其两者之间的关系的角度讨论信息结构。每一个信息单位都是由新信息和旧信息组成,新、旧信息间的相互作用促成信息的有效传递,从而达到既流畅又有意义的交际。一般来说,新旧信息的排列遵循“无标记”顺序规律,即旧信息在前,新信息在后,旧信息为短形式,新信息取长形式(完全形式)。然而,由于新、旧信息和交际语境密切相关,准确地区分信息的新旧状态并非易事,因此,应动态地而不是静止地划分信息状态。论文同时阐述了正常情况下信息焦点表征为新信息,但在某些特殊情况下,旧信息也可得到关注并实现凸显。 最后,论文借助话语表征论,结合对新闻语篇、课堂语篇、公共语篇和广告语篇等大量语篇资料的详细分析,对语篇意义与信息结构的交相互动作了论证。不论是口头语篇...
