现代汉语中“你”和“您”使用情况的社会语言学分析

第二人称代词作为称呼语在日常交际中的使用是社会语言学研究的重要课题之一。1960年布朗(Brown)和吉尔曼(Gilman)第一次发表了他们关于一些欧洲语言中的第二人称代词在日常使用中的研究文献。在这篇文献中他们首次使用了权势语义和等同语义的社会语言学理论并指出谈话双方对第二人称代词的选择主要是由双方的权势或等同关系所影响。此后,更多的社会语言学家对各种语言中第二人称代词的使用进行了研究,其中也包括对汉语第二人称代词“你”和“您”的社会语言学研究。 本文运用定性与定量研究相结合的方法,研究分析了在不同社会变量的影响下以及在特定的谈话场景中谈话者对现代汉语中“你”和“您”的使用情况。文章通过调查问卷收集到了503份数据并运用科学统计方法进行了数据分析,结合对例句进行定性分析我们发现在社会因素,如年龄,性别,文化水平的影响下人们对“你”和“您”的选择有所差异。然后文章考察了在具体情境中,“你”和“您”的选择会表达某种特殊的含义。 通过对现代汉语中“你”和“您”的使用情况进行调查研究,结果表明“你”和“您”的选择使用不仅表达着交谈双方的社会特征,同时也体现了中国社会与文化的特征发展。
