语段理论中定冠词的语类身份

　　本文在语段理论框架下,对定冠词的语类身份进行分析研究。Abney (1987)提出的限定词词组假设理论为人们在限定词词组结构中研究定冠词的语类身份提供了基础。 本文首先把定冠词与其他限定词区分开来,认为只有定冠词才是限定词,其他名词前成分则分别有各自的名称及句法位置。限定词是功能语类。关于定冠词的句法位置历来有两种观点:中心语和标示语。本文首先综述了这两种基本看法,为了获得更新的见解,本文尝试在生成语法最新的理论成果——语段理论框架下对定冠词进行研究。本文认为,定冠词位于限定词的中心语位置。对于Lyons (1999)所提出的斯堪的纳维亚语中的双重限定现象和Longobardi (1994)的N-to-D移位问题,本文认为粘着冠词位于轻名词n的位置上;当定冠词和专有名词同时出现时,N移位至D与N之间的功能语类,即轻名词n上。Lyons (1999)提出把定冠词和D的句法位置区分开,对此本文持赞同观点。限定词具有限定性,但并不是所有具有限定性的语类都占据中心语的位置。结合定冠词的中心语位置,本文对具有限定性的语类进行了尝试性的分析,分别指出它们在DP语段中的句法位置,其普遍性还有待进一步...
