语境理论在初中英语阅读教学的应用

　　阅读是人们获取信息、进行交流的重要途径。英语阅读理解集语法、词汇等于一身,能够充分考察学生对英语的综合掌握及运用能力。因此,英语阅读教学一直备受教师和学生的关注。但当前的阅读课堂仍然主要以教师为中心,只注重知识点的讲解而忽略阅读方法和技巧的培养。从而导致学生死记硬背单词和课文、生搬硬套语法规则、机械呆板操练句型,吸取的信息量小,阅读速度慢,知识面狭窄,分析能力差。这大大阻碍了学生英语思维和阅读能力的发展和提高。没有语境,也就无所谓文章。中文里也早有“词不离句,句不离段,段不离文,文不离用”的说法。语境在阅读中的作用不容小觑。因此,本文试图将语境理论运用于阅读教学,注重培养学生的语境意识和语境策略,从而提高其阅读能力和语言的综合运用能力。 本研究运用多种研究方法对深圳市宝安区新湖中学的94名七年级学生进行了为期一学期的实验,旨在验证语境理论运用于阅读教学的可行性和有效性。作者随机将七年级四班定为实验班,七年级五班为控制班。两个班的英语总体成绩相当,选用相同的英语教材和资料并均由本文作者进行英语授课。实验班用语境理论指导阅读教学,控制班用传统方法进行教学。通过对问卷调查、前测后测、访...
