元功能对等理论视域下《习近平谈治国理政》中用典的英译研究

　　本研究基于《习近平谈治国理政》第一卷、第二卷中的用典及其英译语料,从系统功能语言学角度出发,探讨用典及其英译的元功能怎样对等这个基本问题。系统功能语言学的三大元功能包括概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能,概念功能包括逻辑功能和经验功能两个子功能。本研究根据逻辑功能、经验功能、人际功能和语篇功能的本质特征,对《习近平谈治国理政》中用典的英译认真筛选,选取有代表性的50句用典及英译语料。同时,把它们分为五类案例进行对比分析,力求遵照系统功能语言学评估模式,从情景、功能、语言三者互动的角度对原文与译文进行微观层面分析,考察译文在三种功能或意义上与原文是否对等。本研究发现,《习近平谈治国理政》第一卷、第二卷中的用典及其英译在优劣对等、精准对等和寓意对等三个角度实现了对等。这从元功能理论维度、语言层次维度和级阶维度这三个维度予以呈现。第一个维度是,从元功能理论和优劣对等来看,基于“案例对比分析”的探析判断,有以下发现:首先,当今有不少研究对等翻译的学派,但从形式角度考虑居多,少见对用典英译的语言学研究。本研究每类“案例对比分析”离不开语言功能分析,弥补了该研究的不足。其次,三大功能本来是三位一体,不分...
