性别·权力·政治：论库切《等待野蛮人》与《内陆深处》的身体叙事

约翰·马克斯韦尔·库切是南非杰出的小说家、散文家、翻译家和文学评论家,布克奖和诺贝尔文学奖得主。《等待野蛮人》和《内陆深处》分别是库切的两部长篇小说,因其独特创新的叙事风格、巧妙经典的行文构思在评论界受到了中西学者的青睐与广泛关注。从目前国内外的研究现状来看,多数学者将研究视野集中在对这两部作品的主题分析、后殖民研究、女性主义解读、后现代叙事解读、心理分析等较为宏大的话题上。然而,纵观库切的这两部小说,身体、性别、权力、政治是库切后殖民创作语境的四个基本维度,它们相互对峙却又彼此依存,共同推动了故事情节的发展,构成了作品的内在张力。尽管有个别学者注意到库切小说中的以上几个要素,却未从上述四个维度系统而深入地透视、研究和考察库切这两部作品的身体叙事。鉴于库切作品在内容与形式的统一性,如果将其小说中的故事内涵与叙事策略相融合来分析库切的作品,从而去探索和揭示其作品的文学价值,则有助于为解读库切小说提供一种新的途径。因此,本文借助福柯的身体理论,釆用理论分析与文本细读相结合的原则,以后殖民语境下的身体书写为切入点,围绕库切两部小说中叙事的几个焦点—身体、性别、权力与政治,对作品进行剖析和探讨...
