单词接触频率对高中生词汇附带习得影响的实证研究

  没有语法知识,至少还可以表达一些内容,没有词汇,将什么都不能表达(David Wilkins)。词汇对于二语学习者的重要性不言而喻。根据高中英语新课标,阅读是高中生在英语学科学习中的重要语言技能之一。Krashen,Mason和Cho指出阅读是学习者词汇习得的主要途径之一。20世纪八十年代,从Nagy提出词汇附带习得至今30多年,国内外许多学者开展了词频与词汇附带习得相关的理论研究,然而,词频与词汇附带习得相关的实证研究却相对匮乏。因此,探索词频因素影响下高中生的词汇附带习得具有重要的意义,这将进一步完善词汇习得的相关理论,同时为我国高中英语词汇教学提供新的视角和方向。本文主要基于克拉申提出的输入假说,施密特提出的注意假说和克雷克与洛克哈特提出的认知层次加工理论,以实证研究的方式探索阅读中目标词汇在文本中的出现频次对高中生词汇附带习得的影响。本文作者提出以下2个研究问题:1)目标词在阅读文本中出现频次如何影响词形、词性和词义方面的即时词汇习得?2)词频如何影响学习者对目标词词义的长时记忆效果?本研究以75名来自湖南某实验中学高一年级学生为被试,其中15名学生参与预备实验;其余60名学生...
