格式塔意象再造视角下的《楚辞》霍克斯英译研究

《楚辞》作为中国历史上第一部浪漫主义诗歌总集,在中国文学史上有着独一无二的崇高地位。伟大的爱国主义诗人屈原是其主要创作者。它诞生于战国之时的楚地,受当地浓厚的巫文化影响,楚辞有着丰富而独特的文化意象,如香草,美人,神灵等。有着丰富而迥异的主题,如感怀自身遭遇的《离骚》、探索宇宙奥秘的《天问》、描写神灵祭祀的《云中君》、《东皇太一》等。楚辞的译本众多,而大卫·霍克斯的译本为最早且最完整的楚辞全译本。本论文从格式塔意象再造理论的角度来分析霍译本《楚辞》。格式塔意象是来自于格式塔心理学的概念,玛丽·斯内尔·霍恩比提出格式塔的整体原则可用于文学翻译的研究。而该理论是由姜秋霞教授提出的。格式塔意象再造理论强调原文中的格式塔质在译文中的重现。本文采用了综合的研究方法,试图从这一视角探讨霍译本楚辞中的格式塔意象再造,文中将楚辞中的意象进行了分类,即:事件意象,人物意象,景物意象与抒情意象。同时,鉴于翻译过程同时也是一种认知过程的共识,本文引入了认知翻译学的相关理论,对霍译本中所采用的认知翻译策略:意象保存,意象凸显和意象更新进行了总结和分析。本文发现霍译本对《楚辞》中的四种格式塔意象均在译文中达成了...
