翻译家张谷若研究

【摘要】：张谷若是我国著名翻译家,被文学界誉为“哈代专家”。从上世纪三十年代以其两部成功译著引起翻译界广泛关注以来,其英国文学经典译著不断问世,受到译界普遍好评。其翻译思想,日益为译界所关注。他毕生从事英国文学翻译和研究,其特点为译文典雅忠实、注释深入详尽。在当前研究其翻译思想及译著无疑具有现实意义。 本文试图多角度研究作为翻译家的张谷若,剖析其翻译思想,并归纳分析其文学翻译特色,同时选择其译作与其他译家之相关译作,从归化及异化角度进行尝试性比较评析,再之还力图阐明对其译学思想和翻译实践进行研究的实践意义。 除引言与结语外,本文包括五个部分: 引言简要介绍本文的主题与基本结构; 第一章概括性介绍张谷若的翻译生涯和翻译作品及其在翻译界的地位及影响,使读者简要了解作为翻译家的张谷若; 第二章系统梳理并分析张谷若的主要翻译思想,主要涉及:1)“地道的原文,地道的译文”的翻译原则;2)文学翻译“为科学亦为艺术,为艺术亦为科学”;3)翻译与研究相结合;4)重视译文读者。本章通过结合传统译学思想,对张谷若代表性翻译思想进行阐释分析,以总结出其翻译思想在中国译坛的历史及现实意义;
