【摘要】：教育部2011年颁布《义务教育英语课程标准》要求学生能理解和运用规定话题的语言表达形式,能够在英语写作中正确、恰当地使用包括单词、短语、习惯用语和固定搭配等形式,规范语言,形成良好的写作习惯。虽然新课标和中考对学生的英语写作提出了越来越高的要求,但是,在初中阶段,学生的写作现状不容乐观,写作中存在的一些严重问题。例如词汇贫乏且运用能力差,按照汉语的习惯来写句子,语言表达不符合语法规则,文章的逻辑性差等问题。研究表明,在自然语言中,有大量的词块,它们具有词汇和句子的特点,它们是固定的或半固定的语言结构,在语言输出过程中起着重要的作用。基于词块的特征,刘易斯提出词块教学法。引起国内外众多学者的广泛研究。这些研究主要是在大学生中进行的,很少有针对初中生。本研究旨在探讨词汇教学法对英语写作的影响,寻找提高学生写作能力的有效途径,提高学生写作兴趣。在这篇文章中,作者试图回答以下三个问题:1)词块教学法是否有助于提高学习者的写作能力?2)词块教学法是否有助于提高学习者的写作兴趣?3)词块教学法是否有助于提高学习者对词块的使用意识?基于以上认识,笔者以广州市南沙鱼窝头第二中学的初一两个教学班的80名学生为研究对象,两个班被随机指定为实验班和控制班,目的在于探究词块教学对初中英语写作的促进作用。笔者将词块理论运用于实验班的英语教学中,将传统的词汇语法教学运用于控制班。随后笔者收集了实验班和控制班两次的作文成绩作为实验数据并借助软件SPSS 21进行数据分析。实验结果表明,接受词块教学法的学生英语写作兴趣明显增强,他们的写作成绩明显优于控制班。这意味着词块教学法确实有助于提高学生语言表达的准确性,提高学生遣词造句的灵活性,提高学生写作不同文体的连贯性和流畅性,从而提高他们英语写作水平。其次,该实验还发现,词块教学法有助于促进学生的词块使用意识,词块的使用量和作文的质量之间存在着正相关。可以得出结论,词块教学法在初中英语写作教学中的应用切实可行。同时,这项研究也对初中英语写作教学有一定的启示作用。
