关联理论视角下的文化预设及其翻译策略

无论是在语言学界还是翻译界,文化预设已经不是一个新名词了。它自出现以来就引起了激烈的争论。文化预设是指人们在文化上所享有的隐含的假设,信念和观点,无需描述或解释。也就是说是指说话人与听话人之间不同的文化背景,或者是建立在不同的社会团体成员的生活经验基础上的特定的观念。缺乏对双方不同文化预设的了解,将会对双方的成功交际造成障碍。因此对文化预设缺乏正确的理解不可避免的将会导致文化误译、翻译欠缺和翻译过度。然而在跨文化交际过程中文化预设所带来的困难及其应采取的翻译策略并未得到很好的解释,这一领域仍有广阔的研究空间。 在国际交流日益频繁的今天,文化因素成为了影响翻译研究的一个很重要的因素。尤其是自从翻译研究的文化转向以来,文化因素更加日益成为翻译研究中影响颇深的重要因子。对文化预设的准确把握,了解和认知有助于帮助译者透彻理解原文灵活处理原语的文化预设,缩短两种语言文化的距离。然而在实际的翻译过程中,处于不同文化大背景下的译者会不自觉的地以各自的社会意识或群体意识解释或理解不同文化中的同一文化现象,导致了理解的障碍和困难。作为译者应该准确把握原文信息,把原文作者想要传达给读者的信息正确的传达出来...
